Brixham College's Year 12 students recently embarked on an exciting visit to the UCAS Discovery Convention, held at the Westpoint Centre in Exeter.

The convention, boasting representation from 128 universities, offered an extensive view of academic opportunities including dedicated stands for apprenticeships, the Army, Royal Navy, and the RAF.

In preparation for the expedition, students researched prospective courses and universities.

Throughout the convention, students eagerly asked pre-planned questions, seeking insights into various facets of university life. From inquiries about accommodation and transportation to discussions about the vibrant social scene, representatives painted vivid portraits of prospective student experiences, igniting the students' excitement for their academic journey ahead.

Additionally, students received invaluable information regarding tuition fees, living costs, and available scholarships. Armed with this knowledge, they were empowered to make informed decisions about their future endeavours, laying the groundwork for their academic and professional success.

It propels them towards futures brimming with possibility and promise as they embark on their higher education adventure with confidence and enthusiasm.
